A very close friend asked, as many do, “What is the purpose of life?” Occasionally, we are offered a pearl of wisdom presenting answers! In the following words submitted by a dear sister in the Lord, Melissa Brown, she is offering some answers through her insight, but only if you’re willing to pay attention.

Every day we wake to make memories with the ones we love is a gift from God.
The world don’t want to serve God because he testifies that their deeds are wicked, and their hearts are deceitful. Yet, when man can do no more, he turns to the Father and cries for his help.
Some in the world expect God to be the maid of their lives and go around cleaning up their messes. Yet they fail to thank him for their blessings. We were never promised a life that was easy, we were warned that we would have trials and tribulations.
Look at how gold is put into the fire to separate all of the impurities, this is the same that trials do for us.
I remember a song my grandmother Bernice used to sing during trials with her health, “I’m a winner either way, if I go or if Istay; For I will still have my Jesus each passing day. I’ll have my healing here below or a life forever, if I go. Oh praise the Lord, I’m a winner either way.”
I tell everyone that following Christ is not easy. It’s hard but it will be so worth the celebration at the end.
Friends, you are gonna live forever somewhere. Who you yield yourself a servant to, is who you make your master. And you will serve eternity with your master.
God gives mercy and grace. Christ became our advocate to make a way for us. In Christ our debts are paid. Tomorrow is not promised to anyone. Please, choose life.
John 10:10, “the thief comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but I come that they may have life and have life more abundantly.” – Christ

As our astute sister points out, our spirit lives on, after our mortal temple, housing our spirit, succumbs to death.

This part of the article hopefully addresses our reasons for being here. As we have been shown, there are consequences if we are not paying attention. There are two masters in eternity. One will be followed, and each is vying for our soul.

Our purpose should be while journeying to reconnect with God. However, our crafty opponent has not made it easy. Since our journey to do so begins in an environment, leading us into and through a realm filled with Satans temptations which millions have succumb to and failed to accomplish their purpose, to reconnect with God, and now walk oblivious to their eventual future of serving Satan as their master.

Now, having been made aware of our purpose to reconnect to God. It is time to answer why we are here. The answer to this question involves two actions on our part. Once we recognize and accept our purpose of receiving God’s gift of salvation through his Son Yeshua, the second part of the answer becomes visible to all parties involved. However, it creates additional questions.

We should acknowledge this is the beginning of our spiritual trials, testing our developing relationship with the Son Yeshua and Father in heaven Yahewa. Our introduction to the importance of whether we are a committed, observant, and obedient child, Psalms 91:1-6
[1]He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
[2]I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
[3]Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
[4]He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
[5]Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
[6]Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

or walk as a self-serving child as described in Romans 1:21
[21]Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Now,being faced again with two options, one to obediently share my newfound gifts as I solidify them in my life and relationship with God and Son. Heed and hear the words and teachings of the Holy Spirit that I might fulfill God’s command to bring light into the world. Matthew 4:19 KJV
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Or succumb to the whims of the world and temptations of Satan and continue walking with those described in Romans 1:29-32 KJV
Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, [30] Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, [31] Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: [32] Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Continuing to believe, they are enjoying the comforts and luxuries of Satan and his many minions while fulfilling the desires of Satan to capture souls unto eternal domination. Continuing to walk under his delusion by following his cloned christ of the day.

Or walk spiritually sharing God’s light as one of his spiritual soldiers, knowing who your enemy is as described in Ephesians 6:12-13
[12]For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
[13]Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Our days are such we must heed Yeshua’s warning Luke 21:8,17-19 KJV
And he said, Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ ; and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them. [17] And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake. [18] But there shall not an hair of your head perish. [19] In your patience, possess ye your souls.

To sum up our purpose in this life’s journey to reconnect with God. Why am I here to recognize once reconnected to God I become an obedient servant offering my services to God as His instrument to share his light through battling Satan’s minions as a soldier of God’s army here in preparation for our final battle when we return with Him to do battle in Armageddon.
