Revelation 3:20 KJV
Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
We hear the words of our Lord filled with promises and rewards! Yet in the hearts of some their reasoning for receiving His call to follow has a profound purpose, ESCAPE from God’s wrath, instead of acceptance as a humble obedient servant not expecting any reward but to be in the eternal presence of Yahewa through his son Yeshua.
The gospel is a word of grace sounding in our ears. The gospel day is a day of salvation, the means of grace the means of salvation, the offers of the gospel, the offers of salvation, and the present time, the proper time to accept these offers.
Tomorrows are unknown to us: we know not what tomorrow will bring, nor where we shall be. We currently enjoy a day of grace; so, let all be careful not to neglect it. As Purveyors of the gospel, we should look upon ourselves as God’s servants and act in everything suitably to that character.
2 Corinthians 6:7-10 KJV
By the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armour of righteousness on the right hand and on the left, [8] By honour and dishonour, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; [9] As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed; [10] As sorrowful, yet alway rejoicing; as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.
Our Father in heaven has and remains calling for us to assess our walk, and relationship, constantly knowing what path we are journeying on. Is our journey that of escape from the Father’s wrath to come Luke 13:25 KJV
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
Or, as a humble servant being fruitful through obedience knowing in our hearts we will be seen being obedient and. fruitful.
Matthew 25:23 KJV
His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make. thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
