Acts 2:46-47
[46] And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart,
[47] Praising God and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
We find in the following verses how we should be worshipping. There is a question about the modern-day Assemblies; why is there so much apostasy and defection.
In the foregoing verses, we have the history of the truly primitive church of its first days; its state of infancy indeed, but, like that, the state of its greatest innocence. They kept close to holy ordinances and abounded in piety and devotion; for Christianity, when admitted in the power of it, will dispose the soul to communion with God in all those ways wherein he has appointed us to meet him and has promised to meet us.
In looking at the condition of the Assemblies, and some of the Ecclesia, it becomes easy to recognize how men have incorporated worldly traditions and customs over the centuries, moving them slowly away from daily breaking bread and with gladness spiritually eat their meat with singleness of heart. The Lord, from day to day, inclined the hearts of more to embrace the gospel; not merely professors, but such as were actually brought into a state of acceptance with God, being made partakers of regenerating grace. Those whom God has designed for eternal salvation shall be effectually brought to Christ.
God forbid that by indulging the body, and the desires of it, we should make ourselves like the beasts that perish!

Matthew 18:4 KJV
Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
