“I AM A SPIRITUAL BEING! THE SPIRIT IS LIFE BECAUSE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS!”

Genesis 1:27 KJV
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

When you look in the mirror what are you comprehending? How do you see yourself? Do you see only a fleshly image that desires to be satisfied and in many ways gratified with the luxuries and comforts of this world?

Or, are you able to recognize the true individual within your body. Do you understand or have you ever wondered, why God created man as He did?

Man was to be a creature different from all that had been previously created. Flesh and spirit, heaven and earth, must be put together in him. Genesis 1:26
[26]And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. Man, when he was made, was to glorify the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

Or on the flip side listen to the temptations and indulge the body, and the desires of it, the luxuries and comforts, thus choosing to ignore the Father Son and Holy Ghost making ourselves like the beasts!

When Yahewa created us; He forbid indulging the body, and the desires of it, lest we should make ourselves like the beasts that perish!

Why is it important to recognize we are spiritual and why we were created in the order we were? Man was made last of all the creatures: this was both an honour and a favour to him.

Man was made the same day the beasts were; his body was made of the same earth with theirs; and while he is in the body, he inhabits the same earth with them.

Genesis 1:27
[27]So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

It is here we recognize the importance of viewing ourselves in the Spirit, apart from the flesh. Man was to be a creature different from all that had been previously created. Flesh and spirit, heaven and earth, must be put together in him. God said, “Let us make man” Man, when he was made, was to glorify the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

It is the soul of man that especially bears God’s image. Man was made upright, Ecclesiastes 7:29. Our recognition here brings forward the importance of separating our mental image from the body and raising our recognition of the Spirit.

In this state of mind we will be drawn to a level where our understanding will see Divine things clearly and truly; there are no errors or mistakes in our knowledge; our will consents at once, and in all things, to the will of God.

Our affections are all regular, and we have no bad appetites or passions. Our thoughts are easily brought and fixed to the best subjects.

However, this condition does not just happen. Adam was made in the image of God; but when fallen he begat a son in his own image, sinful and defiled, frail, wretched, and mortal, like himself. Not only a man like himself, consisting of body and soul, but a sinner like himself. This was the reverse of that Divine likeness in which Adam was made; having lost it, he could not convey it to his seed.

Now it becomes important for us to apply our knowledge of being a spirit. Recognizing corrupt practices are the fruit of corrupt principles; and he who is false to his God, will not be true to his fellow mortals.

Recognizing and being in the Spirit we should acknowledge the path needed to learn how Christ did the will, and sought the honour of His Father. So, being in the spirit we must strive to be as Christ, and make our subjection to doing Yeshua’s will and seeking his glory. Especially in our demonstrations, vocalizations and appearance, avoid everything which may dishonour Christ.

If any so far slight either their disease by sin, or the method of cure by Christ, as not to receive Christ upon his own terms, their ruin is upon their own heads. He has said, Look and be saved, look and live; lift up the eyes of your faith to Christ crucified. And until we have grace to do this, we shall not be cured, but still are wounded with the stings of Satan, and in a dying state

John 11:25 KJV
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

When we understand how recognizing our spirit it offers our opportunity to receive the great gospel benefit, that whoever believes in Christ, shall not perish, but shall have everlasting life. John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
We then acknowledge God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, and so saving it. It could not be saved, but through him; there is no salvation in any other. From all this is shown the happiness of true believers; he that believeth in Christ is not condemned. Though he has been a great sinner, yet he is not dealt with according to what his sins deserve.

Only being in our spirit can we recognize and fully embrace God’s love in giving his Son for the world. God so loved the world; so really, so richly.

Romans 8:9-11 NKJV
But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. [10] And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. [11] But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.

Robert a humble obedient servant to Yeshua and Father in heaven Yahewa.
