November 17th, 2022, is a day for me to rejoice and raise praises and hallelujah to Yeshua.

So, you understand, in 1949, as a youngster wanting to know who that fourth person was in the furnace with Meshach, Abed-ego, and Shadrach

Over the next 72 years, I can say I developed a deep relationship with that fourth person in the furnace. I can say we have a relationship filled with love on both sides.

My love is given in obedience to Yeshua as the Son of God but more so one who has each day proven to me his love is there to smooth my path and fill me with knowledge, understanding and wisdom.

Yeshua’s love has brought me closer to knowing our Father in heaven. His love has shown me how to present myself as an obedient loving child, not filled with expectations of grandeur promises, but a child filled with admiration, love, and a deep sense of being connected to a Father who cares and has looked after me while I was seeking to know him over these past 72 years.

As I ponder those days past and all they offered I now recognize who was standing next to me in the furnace of life, who it was preventing any of the flames of life to sear me, who it was that lifted me up and held me in his hands and allowed me to continue my pursuit of knowing who that person was.

This journey has shown me not only who he was but also the true purpose of the journey, and why it must be made. These 72 years were filled with upstanding, and at times downs and filled with victories and losses. Each moment became a part of the knowledge needed to bring me before the throne of God filled with the admiration of a child.

Filled with an understanding of why I had to go through the furnace of life. Knowing I would have the strength to overcome all the trials and tribulations confronting me throughout my life’s journey.

It is 2022. I have travelled for 77 years and today the 17th of November now raises my heart-felt prayer saying thank you Lord for this blessed journey started on the 17th of November 1945, when I entered this world, to offer me the opportunity to discover your undying love compassion patience but most of all mercy and forgiveness. Now having been led to you through my growing relationship with your son Yeshua I am looking forward to whatever you have in store for me in the upcoming days.

What this journey has shown me is how important it is not to forget what we are looking for during our journey through this life. Are we looking to develop a relationship with Yeshua and learn from him how to gain a reconnection with our Father in heaven? Or spend our time pleasing the flesh here and paying the price in eternity for those pleasures?
