Evil-speaking is a sign of malice and guile in the heart and hinders our profiting from the word of God. A new life needs suitable food. Infants desire milk and make the best endeavours for it which they are able to do; such must be a Christian’s desires after the word of God. Our Lord Jesus Christ is very merciful to us miserable sinners, and he has a fulness of grace.

The professed love of Christians for each other should be sincere, free from deceit, and unmeaning and deceitful compliments. Depending on Divine grace, they must detest and dread all evil and love and delight in whatever is kind and useful. We must not only do that which is good, but we must cleave to it. All our duty towards one another is summed up in one word, love.

Heavenly Father I place before your throne this petition to hear and if it is your will Lord, place in the hearts of your children your compassion and love, and soften those hearts to receive your forgiveness, patience, and perseverance; Lord remove from them the worldly image of maturity and worldly wisdom, replace it with humility filled with child-like obedience unto your teachings through the Holy Spirit bring them to understand as they move forward all knowledge comes through you to them your children. I place all before your throne, heavenly Father in the name of Yeshua, Amen and Amen.
