Proverbs 12:21 There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief
Normally I do not report worldly events on this site, however, occasionally events take place which confirm our Lord’s warnings. Such is the case with this report.
They indulged their appetites as if they had nothing to do but to make provision for the flesh to fulfil the lusts of it. Those who make a god of themselves, and a god of their bellies, in pride and wantonness, and cannot bear to be told of it, thereby forsake God, and show they esteem him lightly.
Psalm 91:6-7 Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday. 91:7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you
