As another day closes and the work of the Holy Spirit is nurturing our soul, I give praise for his presence in my life.
The following comes from this day’s reading. We have here the conditions upon which the blessing is promised. It is upon condition that we diligently hearken to the voice of God (Deuteronomy 28:1,2), that we hear God speaking to us by his word and use our utmost endeavours to acquaint ourselves with his will, Deuteronomy 28:13.
Upon condition that we observe and do all his commandments (and to obedience, there is a need of observation) and that we keep the commandments of God (Deuteronomy 28:9) and walk in his ways. Not only do them for once but keep them forever not only set out in his ways but walk in them to the end.
Upon condition that we should not go aside either to the right hand or to the left, either to superstition on the one hand, or profaneness on the other and particularly that we should not go after other gods (Deuteronomy 28:14), which was the sin that of all others we are most prone to, and God would be most displeased with.
What a fulfilling day being reminded why we walk with Yeshua within His light, love and grace. As I prepare for an early evening of meditation and rest, I place before our Father’s throne a deeply felt Thank You.

Do we hope that the praising of God will be the blessedness of our eternity? Surely then we ought to make it the business of our time.
Robert
