EXCUSES 

OPENING COMMENTS by Robert 

Faith is what believers within the realm of Christianity should be practicing during this pandemic. I have been shown a comparison to be put forward revealing the depth or lack of Faith. Or better yet a look at how we allow doubt into our lives by mixing carnal and spiritual believing it is right in our minds to do so.  

We have been shown this line of thinking is a sin in God’s eyes. One of the reasons there was a 40-year exodus was to cleanse the Israelite’s of their pagan beliefs adopted during their time in slavery. One of those sins was believing in their minds they were right.  

I brought forward that during this pandemic believers (Christians) should be relying on their faith and used Psalms 91:9 – 16 as a reference to why. The following was a reply to this statement.  I absolutely trust in the Lord, but He wants us to use common sense too. Pride comes before the fall. I’ve heard of pastors ignoring the health guidelines only to end up being sick themselves, some died. 

Agreed we must be aware of our surroundings and know we are not tempting the Lord in our walk. This individual state’s using common sense to know our surroundings and calls trusting what our lord states is available to us is a form of Pride.  

Cites that pastors have died because they trusted in the word of God, when I discern this statement, I determine, it to be from the enemy if I use Psalm 91:1 as my point of reference He that by faith chooses God for his protector, shall find all in him that he needs or can desire. According to this scripture it is impossible for a man of God to meet his demise due to a virus.  

The Lord does not rely on common sense as it is a worldly state of mind. common sense: sound and prudent judgment based on a simple perception of the situation or facts.  

We are given the gift of discernment: the quality of being able to grasp and comprehend what is obscure. Discernment the capacity to apprehend general relations of particulars: the power to make experience intelligible by applying concepts and categories.  

OBSERVATION by Robert 

I believe we are being given a chance to comprehend the depth of this pandemic and the situation as such. Being under the Lord’s protection we now should be aware of the depth of our faith and how to use it.    

Those walking as believers of Yeshua’s teachings should recognize it as, “being informed they have time,” time to exercise faith and wait. I see this pandemic offering believers an opportunity to exercise their faith, become familiar with it and its power.  

Our faith is like a muscle and needs to be exercised not only to strengthen but as well to become familiar, living under and with faith as a preparation for the future.  

My reasoning brought me to know what Spiros Zodhiates, Th.D. related “how by looking at nature, one can observe God is all-powerful, but creation does not necessarily reveal that He is an all-loving God of righteousness and justice. 

There is only so much of God one can know from God’s creation. However, to know the essence of God as a triune Deity one needs to receive His revelation by faith”. 
 

Reality hit, “I had not clearly understood what my walk involved, nor did I fully comprehend what work Yahweh was performing in me through His Son Yeshua, and the Holy Spirit.” We must remember God’s continued shaping and moulding of our soul and spirit into the men and women He desires. 

Now, I am doing the audit Yahweh previously called all to do. I’m revealing myself and the things in my walk which are out of line and the Holy Spirit revealed I really don’t understand as much as I believe I do. 

In this exercise of living and walking in faith, what has become apparent, Yahweh called us out to measure our walk, and through Yeshua and the Holy Spirit learn what we don’t understand and teach us how to gain what we are missing in our steps, to fully appreciate the depth of Yahweh’s love compassion and Grace during times of worldly tribulations. To recognize and comprehend being in the hands of His angels.  

We are being brought to a point individually where each of us is going to realize just how much we do not understand about God’s love and how far we need to go to draw closer to Him in that love. In other words, we have just been Spiritually chastised by Yahweh and shown how important we are in our Heavenly Father’s eyes. 

Is it possible complacency has drawn us to be blinded to what we actually have fallen into as a walk with Yeshua? Have we become so famous in our own minds we like the Israelites who were led out of Egypt have been subjected to doing what is right in our own minds? 

 
REMEMBER THAT THOU WAS A SERVANT, AND GOD BROUGHT THEE OUT, Deuteronomy 5:15 

“Wow,” newly found spiritual freedom with a flood of feelings as well a mental rush to recognize and accept, that in my walk it was not understood I may have been a servant to Evil.  

My journey possibly could be leading me away from walking in God’s Laws and Covenants. Like the Israelites who through, their Exodus, were freed from Service to Egypt as slaves, and with this truth just experienced a similar Exodus perhaps not as slaves, however as unknowing captives to evil ideologies which have subtly crept into our walks. 

Just think what must have gone through their minds when they first left Egypt leaving everything they saw as comfort to follow Moses through the wilderness Exodus 13:18.  

So, in comparison, we have chosen to leave all we perceived as comfortable to go forward into a form of spiritual wilderness, allowing us to search our walk, commitment, and faith. To find and improve our commitment, walk and personal relationship with Yeshua and His Father. 
 

Now here is where the similarity comes into play recognizing God brought the Israelites through the wilderness to rid them of generations who were worshippers of Baal, Moab, Aphrodite and other pagan beliefs taken up during their period of slavery.  

I am not suggesting Yahweh will do that with us. However, I am suggesting by having us go through a spiritual form of wilderness while standing in Yeshua’s footprint.  

Will reveal our shortcomings and assist in ridding them from our walk, through allowing us to discover the depth of God’s love while drawing us closer to Yeshua, the Holy Spirit and through their teachings deeper into Yahweh’s Love, compassion and Grace.  

We all know God builds on us through placing tempests in our lives, we are like silver and gold placed in a furnace melted down and rebuilt into a purer state. This pandemic has two sides to it one for the gentiles, one for believers. Each has a specific purpose I am only addressing the spiritual side.  

This article has revealed what the purpose of the pandemic means to those walking in the light. Again, a bottom line for believers, be prepared to look at your walk, receive correction and act on rectifying them. Recognizing becoming familiar with relying on faith rather than worldly assets, sciences, and finances. 

We have been given a template to guide us when we look at Luke 8:23-25 KJVS 

But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake, and they were filled with water and were in jeopardy. [24] And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm. [25] And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commanded even the winds and water, and they obey him. 

The example given in these verses is to recognize the pandemic we currently face is similar to the storm the disciples were facing as they journeyed. My discernment shows me that the disciple’s lack of faith was the cause for their boat to be filled and necessity to call out to the Lord due to their lack of faith.  

The lesson here knowing we are placed in tempests to build our spiritual character it becomes knowledge to rely on our faith, trust in the word of God as we go through this pandemic understanding nothing will be at our door and we as individuals will be in the hands of God’s angels.  

As God’s Watchman, I am sounding the Trumpet. If you trust in God you will be safe, protected, supported and lifted into the hands of Angels.

If you trust in the world’s science, and your common sense you will like the Disciples who lacked faith and panicked and Peter when he took his eyes off Yeshua started to sink and needed to call out to the Lord for His rescue.  

The Trumpet has been sounded; the knowledge shared; the path chosen will be yours to follow.  

CLOSING PRAYER by Robert

Father, it is with humility I approach your throne with this prayer of thanksgiving and appreciation for your guidance and teachings through the Holy Spirit.

I thank you, Lord, for the knowledge you have bestowed upon us and the lifting of the veils of darkness from our eyes so we are to discern the evil in our lives and who our real enemy is.

We thank you, Father, for providing us with your armour to face our enemy and the instructions on how to use those weapons to remain safe in your service.

We thank you, Father, for the very life we have and those things which enhance our walk reflecting your light into the darkness allowing us to remain to cast our nets as “Fisher’s of Men.” This I pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen and Amen.

Remember, I am just a humble servant bringing this to you as a messenger of Yeshua. God’s blessings
